Swimming Pool Allegre: Totally refurbished in January 2009 this area of the Alegre Hotel is meant to be the "fun area" of it without disturbing the classical boutique ambiance of the manor house.
Set on a different building and garden inside the Hotel's property, it was conceived as a modern design area, developing new architectural ideas and colours like pure fun moments demand. Parties, sports, live music and/or DJ's are common on Fridays and Saturdays during the hot Portuguese summer nights.
For those more energetic guests there are a myriad of rambling trails to choose from each benefiting from spectacular scenery emphasised by the nearby Bussaco National Forest....
