ACCOMMODATION
The Lodge has 20 individually appointed rooms, 16 Superior rooms and 4 Luxury suites, furnished in different styles from English Country to Provencal to Victorian with the recently completed new Orchard and Forest rooms almost forming a little village on its own.

• LUXURY SUITES : an English Country garden theme will greet you in two of the Suites, the only two that boast dual open fire places that can be enjoyed in the lounge or the bedroom! These suites also have magnificent Cherry wood four poster beds and secluded outdoor showers. The Colonial suite will transport you into a bygone era with its checkered tiled bathroom floor and ball-and-claw bath. Sound systems are standard in suites as is the sherry decanter, the contents of which are yours to enjoy with the compliments!
• SUPERIOR ROOMS : 16 Superior rooms are furnished in different styles, each one offering 5-star levels of comfort and luxury. Concrete baths dominate the bathrooms of the Provencal rooms while step up baths and hand made basins feature prominently in the French Country rooms. Outdoor showers are "added extras" in most of rooms and will entice you to experience the magic of showering under the Milky Way.
• HONEYMOON SUITE : a truly romantic, open-plan experience complete with inviting four poster bed, private garden with outdoor shower and plunge pool, sound system, sherry for your enjoyment, red roses and love in the air all around you ...

While different rooms offer guests different experiences, like outdoor showers, open fire places or ½ ton concrete baths, each offers the same standard of luxurious comfort and space. JATINGA'S A LA CARTE RESTAURANT
A glass of sparkling wine with tantalizing canapés, served in your room at sundown, sets the tone for the evening ahead.

Breakfasts are an occasion in themselves with home made muesli and seasonal fruit kebabs vying for attention over delicately sliced smoked salmon and cream cheese.

Pure indulgence comes in the form of one of the traditional High Teas, served on request, which comes with lady-like cucumber and salmon sandwiches, freshly baked scones and a heavenly cake of the day.

There's no need not to enjoy Jatinga's fine fare when taking a day trip to the Kruger or the Panorama route. Simply take one of the gourmet picnic hampers along and feast on pesto encrusted fillet, succulent sliced chicken breast with harissa, home baked Jatinga bread, baked and served in mini clay pots, fresh fruit salad and a generous slice of the chef's yummy cake of the day!

Tea and coffee is readily available throughout the day, with melt-in-your-mouth fresh scones served at 16h00 each day...with the compliments!

LORD MILNER PUB
The "Lord Milner" pub can be found just off the lounge in the lodge's main building and its vibrant coral red walls are as warm and welcoming as the barman's smile! Whether a gin and tonic is your preference or a glass of chilled estate wine, you'll be well looked after in the "Lord Milner".

OUTDOOR DELIGHTS
The secluded pool deck with its inviting pool is there for guests' enjoyment, as are the hammocks dotted around the gardens. The elevated wooden deck overlooks the White River and is a great spot for sundowners. Bird life abounds at Jatinga and a comprehensive bird check list can be found in all rooms. There are two leisurely walks along the White River for those who wish to explore grounds a little more. Croquet and French boules are two of the other laid back pursuits that can be enjoyed at the lodge.

WINE CELLAR
Dining in the Wine Cellar is an experience in itself with hundreds of bottles of red wine as your silent but tempting dinner companions.

MEETINGS AND EVENTS
Spacious and airy, the banqueting room opens up to a private garden with a view over the pecan orchards. A versatile venue for functions and conferences.

The conference room is located a short distance away from the Lodge's homestead and has fold-away doors along one wall opening onto a private garden with a view of the pecan orchard in the distance. The location and setting of the room creates a quiet and calm atmosphere that lends itself to serious business meetings. Depending on the seating configuration required, the room can comfortably seat up to 75 delegates.

ACTIVITIES
There are many different team building activities that can be set up and enjoyed both at the Lodge and off site. Laser clay pigeon shooting and not-too-strenuous river walks, along the White River, can be enjoyed at the Lodge. Adventure activities available in the surrounding area range from bungee jumping to river rafting and quad biking with horse riding at Kaapse Hoop a popular alternative. Big 5 game viewing trips into the Kruger National Park are also available.
